Dead Ringers opens across the U.S. in 1988. Loosely based on real-life twins Stewart and Cyril Marcus, the David Cronenberg film is also similar to Peter Greenaway’s A Zed & Two Noughts. The film wins many film critics awards and has since been included on the Top 10 Canadian Films of All Time list by filmmakers and critics at the Toronto International Film Festival.
