What’s your origin story?
“I have been working in special FX hair and makeup for the film and television industry for 18 years. When I had my now 6-year-old daughter, I could not find any Halloween clothing I liked. It was all pink spiders and glittery bats. So since I can craft and can sew, I decided to make outfits for her. Soon my friends started wanting to buy them for their kids or themselves. I took a look around and realized this was a big hole in the Halloween market and started an Etsy store.
“I then decided to do a few horror conventions and met Bobby Rees, the creator and artist of the Tiny Terrors (@breesgrafix) and started working with him and his amazing art. Things took off from there and I branched out and created SpookyBaby.com. We have grown three graphics to what is over 30 unique and adorable graphics at this point and counting.”
What has come to be your favorite thing about doing this?
“I love hearing from customers and seeing their little ones wearing our stuff. Love randomly seeing our stuff on kids and adults.”
