Creep I.E. Aftermath Kicks Off Inland Halloween Season

Creep I.E. Con launches Creep I.E. Aftermath Sept. 23-24 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, Calif. to help kick off the Halloween season.

The Inland Empire’s prime horror convention has returned to launch a new event at the Ontario Convention Center Sept. 23-24.

Creep I.E. Con’s new Creep I.E. Aftermath officially takes over the convention center, introducing new experiences and celebrities to a growing line-up.

“The idea behind Aftermath is to kick off spooky season here in Southern California while also adding a little pop culture flavor into the mix,” says event producer Brian Boget. More than 200 vendors will be in the hall as well as a new vintage film experience, a new selfie  experience and lots of guests for signings and a Scream Q & A.

Charlie Cox of Marvel’s Daredevil is set to make a rare convention appearance, joining other celebrities such as Jenna Elfman and Ryan Hurst of The Walking Dead universe, The Exorcist‘s Linda Blair,  Jack Quaid of The Boys and Scream VI, Tim Curry of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the 1990s TV mini-series version of It, Alan Oppenheimer, the voice behind Skeletor, Rose McGowan of Charmed and Noah Hathaway of The Neverending Story and Battlestar Galactica.

A significant highlight is the Creep I.E. Cinema, presented by The Frida Cinema. This experience will showcase classic films, like Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and the original Scream on 16mm vintage film. Lee Waddell, who portrayed the original Ghostface is also scheduled for a panel Q&A.

Other attractions include a Scary Selfies room, where attendees can take photos against iconic film backgrounds. Plus, the popular Creep I.E. Arcade experience, curated by Pixel Vault Games, is back, promising retro gaming action.

This year’s other improvements include a pre-registration event 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22. Additionally, the layout is more spacious, with increased aisle room in the vendor hall and additional food trucks.

Creep I.E. Con fans can mark their calendars for Feb. 2-4, 2024. The convention will return, now extended to three days of horror-themed activities for the horror and pop culture enthusiast, including the Fear Farm Haunt, Horror Speed Dating and the Inked in the I.E. Tattoo Area. Tickets are $25 at CreepIEcon.com.
