The multi-Oscar-winning special effects artist and co-founder of Industrial Light & Magic is known for his work on the first Star Wars trilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Poltergeist, Fright Night, Ghostbusters, The Monster Squad, Alien 3, and Tales From the Crypt.
