Elsa Lanchester is born in London in 1902. The two-time Oscar nominee got her breakthrough role in The Bride of Frankenstein, but also appeared in The Spiral Staircase, Bell, Book and Candle, Terror in the Wax Museum, and Willard. She died in 1986.
