The Monster Club opens across the U.K. in 1981. Director Roy Ward Baker’s final film is an anthology telling three different short tales within a framing device featuring Vincent Price and John Carradine, and stories featuring Donald Pleasance and Britt Ekland. Though a flop on its release, it has developed a cult following, partly from the musical acts that appear, including The Pretty Things.
