Sam Raimi is born in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1959. The writer/director/producer is best known for creating the cult horror comedy Evil Dead trilogy, Raimi also directed Drag Me to Hell, the original Spider-Man trilogy, Doctor Strange 2, Darkman, and The Gift, as well as producing and contributing to episodes of Ash vs. The Evil Dead.
