The ghost ship Octavius is found off the coast of Greenland in 1775, according to legend. A group of five men from the whaling ship Herald board the ship to find 28 passengers frozen to death. The final captain’s log indicates the ship has been lost for 13 years and has drifted after being freed from the ice, through the Northwest Passage on its own. The Herald crew leave and the ship disappears into the dark.
