Alfred Hitchcock is born in Leytonstone, Essex, England in 1899. Considered one of the greatest and perhaps most influential director in film history, his long list of classic thrillers includes Psycho, The Birds, Strangers on a Train, Vertigo, Rear Window, Rope, Suspicion, Frenzy, and North By Northwest. He died in 1980.
