John Zacherle is born in Philadelphia in 1918. The radio DJ, singer and voice actor is known mostly as Roland or Zacherley the host of Shock Theater and Zacherley at Large in the late 1950s and early 1960s on Philadelphia and New York TV stations. He died in 2016.
