Night of the Demon premieres in Birmingham, England in 1957. Known as Curse of the Demon in the U.S., Jacques Tourneur’s British-made thriller about a Satanic cult stars Dana Andrews. Nearly 14 minutes is cut for American audiences and included as a drive-in double feature, but the film becomes a classic on home video decades later in its original length.
