The Night America Trembled is broadcast live on CBS’s Studio One in 1957. A depiction of the Orson Welles’ 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast, featured Ed Asner, Alexander Scourby and Warren Oates, and included bit parts by Warren Beatty, James Coburn and John Astin.
