True Blood premieres on HBO in 2008. The erotic horror series is based on Charlaine Harris’ The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels and follows a group of Louisiana vampires through their relationships and in pursuit of vampire rights. Starring Oscar winner Anna Paquin, the show ran for seven seasons.
