Agatha Christie is born in Devon, England in 1890. The best-selling fiction author in history as well as the most translated, Christie is nicknamed “The Queen of Crime” and wrote 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, mostly involving detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Her work has been adapted for radio, stage, TV, film, video games and graphic novels. She died in 1976.
