House of Frankenstein premieres on NBC in 1997. Also known as House of Frankenstein 1997, the two-part miniseries reboots the original Universal ‘monster rally’ movie, moving it to 1990s Los Angeles, featuring Frankenstein’s monster and a vampire (instead of Dracula), a female (instead of a male) werewolf, and a detective movie rather than a mad scientist movie. The series finishes the following night.
