Nearly a century later, the silent horror classic Nosferatu still has the mysterious power to creep you out.

Director F.W. Murnau’s gothic vampire story might seem familiar, but also has many of its own original moments and has inspired filmmakers from Steven Spielberg to Tim Burton and remains not only one of the greatest silent films, but one of the greatest in cinematic history.

One filmmaker, Robert Eggers, will be making his own homage to Murnau’s masterpiece in December, but for the original’s U.S. release 95th anniversary in June, Halloween Every Night offers a special infographic to commemorate one of the first great achievements in horror cinema and essential viewing.
