Invasion of The Body Snatchers opens across the U.S. in 1956. Perhaps the definitive film of Cold War paranoia, the film has been remade three times and entered into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry in 1994. It is also on AFI’s top 100 list of movie thrills and Time magazine’s 100 best film ever made.
