Thurl Ravenscroft is born in Norfolk, Nebraska in 1914. The voice actor with a booming bass was the man behind Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes’ Tony the Tiger for 50 years, but was also the singer for various Disney songs, including “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” “The Headless Horseman” and “The Loch Ness Monster,” and most famously sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” in TV’s How The Grinch Stole Christmas. He died in 2005.
