Terror Tram Meets Jordan Peele For Halloween Horror Nights 2022

A Jordan Peele-inspired expansion of the Terror Tram is one of the new attractions for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights 2022

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is back to strike fear once again. With the promise of both new and returning scares, this year’s frightening lineup is not one to miss.

The popular annual attraction will feature eight mazes, three scare zones, and the return and expansion of the Terror Tram, featuring director Jordan Peele’s blockbuster films Nope and Us

The Terror Tram will showcase some of Peele’s creations, as fans encounter The Tethered from Us, while navigating through the original Jupiter’s Claim set from Nope. Guests will have to watch their backs as Hollywood Harry and his villainous cast of characters stalk them through the reaches of the Universal backlot.

The five new mazes include The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare where you’re stalked by the grotesque characters of his work; The Horrors of Blumhouse which breathes life into the Blumhouse thrillers The Black Phone and Freaky; Universal Monsters: Legends Collide where guests are caught in a battle between Universal legends The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy; Scarecrow: The Reaping in which Mother Nature seeks revenge using the vessel of scarecrows – a maze new to the LA attraction but originating in Orlando – and Universal Horror Hotel in which guests must escape before they’re made a permanent resident by the vengeful spirit of the hotel’s undead owner.

Returning mazes are Halloween where Micheal Meyers chases fans; Killer Klowns from Outer Space trapping guests in a funhouse of killer clowns, inspired by the cult classic film; and be pursued by the legendary mournful ghost of a grieving mother in La Llorona: The Weeping Woman.

As you leave La Llorona, fans will stumble into one of three all-new scare zones, El Pueblo del Terror, where supernatural characters from Latin America’s most frightening myths lie in wait, Sideshow Slaughterhouse thrusts guests into the murderous rampage of the performers of a eerie carnival sideshow, and Clownsawz features demonic clowns with a fondness for chainsaws.

For the first time in Universal Studios Hollywood history, Voldemort’s most devoted followers, the Death Eaters, will invade Hogsmeade village, searching for others who are loyal.

Halloween Horror Nights runs select days from Sept. 8-Oct. 31. General admission tickets are available online or at the Universal Studios front gate. Higher tiers include: after 2 P.M. Day/Night tickets, Universal Express tickets which include a separate line and one-time express to each attraction, and the R.I.P.
