Romeo and Juliet in Hell is the latest live stage show from Force of Nature Productions in North Hollywood. The farce features a multitude of Shakespearean characters trapped in a sort of literary purgatory.

Though fueled by pop culture references and in jokes, audiences don’t need to be Shakespeare experts to have a good time watching their suffering.

At the Actors Workout Studio in North Hollywood through Nov. 23. Tickets are $20.
