Robot Monster opens across the U.S. in 1953. One of the string of 3D films made during the “Golden Age” of 3D in 1952-1955, the film is shot in just four days and is considered one of the worst films ever made. Though stock footage from five other films is used to pad out the hour-long film, it features an original score by Oscar, Emmy and Grammy award-winning composer Elmer Bernstein.
