The Head of Janus a.k.a. Der Januskopf premieres in Berlin in 1920. One of the most sought after lost films in history, F.W. Murnau’s take on Jekyll and Hyde stars Conrad Veidt and Bela Lugosi, with cinematography by Karl Freund. The film received rave reviews in Europe, then disappeared.
