In Search of … premieres in syndication across the U.S. in 1977. The popular and influential weekly documentary TV show is narrated by Leonard Nimoy and explores mysterious events and legends including UFOs, Bigfoot, Dracula, and The Bermuda Triangle, but also Jimmy Hoffa, Anastasia, Nazi war criminals and the San Andreas Fault. The original run produces 144 episodes over six seasons. New versions of the show follow on the Sci Fi Channel in 2002 and The History Channel in 2018.
