Max Von Sydow is born in Lund, Sweden in 1929. The versatile, two-time Oscar-nominated actor’s career stretched seven decades and included TV, film and theater in multiple languages. He is best known for The Exorcist, The Seventh Seal, The Night Visitor, Shutter Island, Hour of the Wolf, Flash Gordon, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Game of Thrones. He died in 2020.
