Edgar Wallace is born in Greenwich, England in 1875. One of the most productive writers of the 20th Century, he is most famous for creating King Kong, but he also wrote 18 stage plays, 957 short stories, and more than 170 novels, mostly thrillers, as well as poetry, and was even a war correspondent. He died in 1932.
