Tippi Hedren is born in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1930. The actress is known primarily for her starring roles in Hitchcock’s The Birds and Marnie, but also appeared in the TV series Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Kraft Suspense Theater and Tales From the Darkside. Hedren has also become well-respected for her work with animals.
