The Fear Faire is coming to San Bernardino, Calif. on Friday the 13th. Scared yet?

The new haunt event takes place on three stages, includes special FX makeup, shopping, prizes, 20 bands, a sideshow, a tattoo collective, fashion shows, and a film festival.

The Fear Faire is a Friday the 13th weekend party that rotates locations with each Friday the 13th. It is a way for people to enjoy a great combination of alternative rock bands, international horror films, special FX makeup competitions, unique shopping, and everything else that is fun and creepy,” says Fear Faire administrator Denise Griffin.

On Friday, attendees can meet-and-greet with filmmakers, sink their teeth into the Amazing Seance Show, or go to film screenings in the Dungeon Lounge. The Wicked Arena will play host to the Venice Beach Freakshow, clowns, and bands like Krypt Kicker 6 and Kitty Antix. After the show, guests have the opportunity to stay for Dead Man’s Prom Night.

Saturday brings faire-goers even more bands and introduces Mortal Chat featuring ghost stories in the Dungeon Lounge, where guests talk about everything from film marketing to thoughts on bigfoot. The costume contest is designed not for the faint of heart. Visitors can also catch a screening of The Night Butcher after meeting the cast.

Sunday wraps up the weekend with more alt rock bands, cosplay and drag open mic. Two more Mortal Chats will be held, as well as the Ugly Sweater Costume Contest. Dip in to see the Amazing Seance Show or get a halloween tattoo from artist Shaun Kama any time during the festival.
