Plenty For Horror Fans At TCM Classic Film Fest 2023

There will be plenty for fans of horror and Alfred Hitchcock at the 2023 TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood April 13-16.

The annual celebration of the best in film history returns with the TCM Classic Film Festival April 13-16 at one of Hollywood’s most iconic theaters.

The four-day fest built around film history instead of new releases will be celebrating Warner Bros. Studios’ 100th anniversary and a wide range of genres, eras, and filmmakers at the famous Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Fans of horror and Hitchcock will get the best group of films the festival has yet run.

Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller Shadow of a Doubt will screen on the opening day of the fest, while on Friday fans can have breakfast with the original King Kong, dinner with the 3D classic House of Wax and go after hours with Mexico’s The Batwoman as a midnight movie.

Saturday kicks off with the sci-fi classic When Worlds Collide, the 1931 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde will be the matinee while special screening of The Exorcist will feature a discussion with the film’s director William Friedkin. The night closes with the 1923 version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

And on Sunday, fans will get a closing shot of Hitchcock with his 1956 remake of his own film The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Individual tickets are $20 with festival passes available for $399-$2,549 through the Turner Classic Movie website.
