Anton Diffring is born in Koblenz, Germany in 1916. A steadily working character actor whose stock in trade was playing Nazis, but his long career included several horror and thriller roles on TV and in film including Circus of Horrors, The Man Who Could Cheat Death, Tales of Frankenstein, Fahrenheit 451, and Faceless. His TV work included, One Step Beyond, The Iguana with the Tongue of Fire, and H.P. Lovecraft: Schatten aus der Zeit. He died in 1989.
