John P. Fulton is born in Beatrice, Nebraska in 1902. The Oscar-winning Universal special effects artist contributed to more than 250 films, including The Mummy, The Invisible Man and its three sequels, and The Bride of Frankenstein, but also worked with Alfred Hitchcock on Saboteur, Rear Window and Vertigo. He died in 1966.
