Robert Louis Stevenson is born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1850. The author of novels, travel stories, poems and essays is known primarily as the writer of “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” “The Body Snatcher” and “Treasure Island.” He died in 1894.
