Dick Smith is born in Larchmont, NY in 1922. The Oscar-winning ‘Godfather of Make-Up,’ author and World War II veteran is most famous for the films Little Big Man, The Godfather, and Amadeus, but his work also included The Exorcist, House of Dark Shadows, Scanners and the remake of House on Haunted Hill. He died in 2014.
