Dean Koontz is born in Everett, Penn. in 1945. The best-selling author of more than 100 novels, including Demon Seed, and Phantoms, What The Night Knows, Midnight, The Bad Place, Cold Fire, Dragon Tears, One Door Away From Heaven as well as the Odd Thomas series, the Frankenstein series and Jane Hawk series. At least 17 of his novels have been adapted into films or TV movies.
