The Oscar-winning actor’s career stretched seven decades and multiples genres, and includes The Lost Weekend, Dial M for Murder, Ministry of Fear, The Uninvited, The Premature Burial, X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes, Panic in Year Zero!, The Thing with Two Heads, The Uncanny, The Pyjama Girl Case, The Masks of Death, and TV work included episodes of The Night Gallery, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and the movies Black Noon, Terror in the Wax Museum, and The Dead Don’t Die. He died in 1986.
