Leslie Stevens in born in Washington D.C. in 1924. The writer/director/producer’s long career is most noted for creating the science fiction-fantasy anthology shows The Outer Limits and Search as well as directing the horror movie Incubus with William Shatner. Later he also co-wrote the pilot to the original Battlestar Galactica and an episode of 1990s Outer Limits revival. He died in 1998.
