Victor Buono is born in San Diego in 1938. The Oscar-nominated actor, comic and poet worked extensively in TV and film in the 1960s and 1970s, most famously as King Tut in Batman but also includes What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Hush … Hush Sweet Charlotte, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, The Strangler, The Mad Butcher, The Evil, The Man with Icy Eyes, and Moonchild. He died in 1982.
