Simon Pegg is born in Brockworth, England in 1970. The writer/actor’s TV and movie career is built largely on classic sci-fi and horror genres and franchises. Though he started on the British show Spaced, he built international fame as the star and co-writer of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, and Paul, and achieved the “ultimate nerd hat trick” for roles in the Star Trek and Star Wars franchises and the Doctor Who TV series. He also has a recurring role in the Mission: Impossible franchise.
