Julian Sands is born in Otley, Yorkshire, England in 1958. The actor’s career stretched from British to American films and TV shows, from period pieces to contemporary thrillers. Sands starred in films like Warlock, Gothic, 1998’s Phantom of the Opera, and the TV show Dexter and mini-series Stephen King’s Rose Red. He disappeared while hiking alone on Mt. Baldy, near Los Angeles, in 2023. His body was found five months later.
