The pilot episode of Ghost Story appears on NBC in 1972. Later re-named Circle of Fear, the anthology horror series is produced by William Castle and stars Sebastian Cabot, featuring tales of the supernatural with various episodes written by Richard Matheson, Robert Bloch and Harlan Ellison. Guest stars include Jason Robards, Jodie Foster, Gena Rowlands, Helen Hayes and Melvyn Douglas. The show runs one season.
