Orange County’s Maverick Theater reopens in May with their production Comic Reading: Spider-Man. A mix of old-time radio broadcast and multi-media display, the family-friendly production will be the first inside the theater in more than a year.
The live comic reading allows for the entire cast and crew to be fully masked and socially distanced during the performance. Cast and crew have also been fully vaccinated. Seating for the audience is limited.
Halloween Every Night talked to Maverick founder and production director Brian Newell about Spider-Man and his plans for the rest of the 2021 season — including the return of King Kong, Night of the Living Dead and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
Tickets to “Comic Reading: Spider-Man” are limited and available at mavericktheater.com
