Robert Tapert is born in Royal Oak, Mich. in 1955. The producer/director/writer is best known as co-creator and writer for Xena, The Princess Warrior TV series, but he’s produced The Grudge, 30 Days of Night, Drag Me to Hell, and the Ash vs. The Evil Dead TV series.
