Lupita Tovar is born in Matias Romero, Oaxaca, Mexico in 1910. The star of the Spanish-language version of Universal’s Dracula in 1931 had a nearly 20-year career in both English- and Spanish-language films before retiring in the 1940s. She died in 2016.
