I Walked With A Zombie premieres in Cleveland in 1943. The Val Lewton/Jacques Tourneur low-budget film that is partly a retelling of Jane Eyre with voodoo zombies, gets mixed reviews and is a mild box office success on its release but has grown in stature over the decades.
