Archie Comics Publications launches imprint Archie Horror in 2015. Based on the successes of the first issues of Afterlife with Archie and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the new imprint allows the 76-year-old company to explore dark, adult subject matter using it’s classic comic characters, including Jughead: The Hunger, Vampironica, and Blossoms 666. Two TV shows would follow based on Archie and Sabrina.
