A Bucket of Blood opens across the U.S. in 1959. Roger Corman’s horror comedy is shot in just five days for $50,000. The first of three black comedies Corman makes with screenwriter Charles B. Griffith along with Little Shop of Horrors and Creature from the Haunted Sea. The film has since been remade and turned into a stage musical.
